Drip Up Design is a poster label that transforms German rap into collectible visual art. The project required a brand and platform that could frame these works not as merchandise, but as a curated, contemporary archive of musical culture.
The visual identity is built on a modular system: restrained typography, high-contrast layouts and a monochrome foundation that allows each poster to dominate its own space. This structure carries through the entire website, which functions as a digital gallery — clean, fast and image-driven, designed to present each release with clarity and intention.
All posters showcased on the platform were designed as part of the system. Each artwork translates musical themes, lyrics or moods into graphic compositions, balancing expressive detail with a consistent underlying grid.
To extend the brand beyond the digital space, a cultural activation was developed in the form of a vernissage in Hamburg. The event brought together five rappers who performed live inside a local coffee space, connecting musicians, artists and the community. The venue reached full capacity, establishing Drip Up Design as both a visual platform and a cultural connector.
The result is a cohesive ecosystem — identity, platform, artwork and real-world presence — positioning Drip Up Design as a contemporary intersection of music and visual culture.
