Local53 is a new event collective in Hamburg focused on melodic house music and the connection between local culture and contemporary electronic aesthetics. The project required a brand identity that could translate this duality into a coherent visual language — grounded in the city, yet refined enough to support a modern music experience.
The identity is built around a modular visual system derived directly from the event locations themselves. Architectural forms, textures and spatial characteristics of each venue inform the graphic structure of the posters, allowing every event to feel site-specific while remaining part of a unified series. This creates a flexible but consistent language that evolves naturally with the collective’s programming.
In addition to the brand and poster system, animated visual loops were developed for use during the events. These animations extend the identity into motion, functioning as atmospheric background visuals that support the musical experience without overpowering it.
The result is a contemporary, location-driven brand world designed to scale with the collective’s growth — a visually coherent platform that connects local spirit with artist-led electronic music.
