Loco Dice Purple Jam

Visual Album Design and Roll out for Loco Dice

Enock Studios led the full creative direction for Purple Jam, shaping a visual system that spans the album’s digital rollout, physical editions, world tour and merch line. Working directly with Loco Dice and in coordination with Universal Music, the project unified every touchpoint under one coherent direction.

The identity began with the album’s premise: a non-linear, collaborative jam session. We experimented with real liquids to develop a set of organic forms that became the foundation of the artwork. fluid, improvised, and tied to the idea of tracks that can be experienced in any order. Shattered-glass elements introduced a subtle link to Dice’s hip-hop roots while remaining grounded in a contemporary electronic context.

The album cover was treated as an artwork rather than a typographic piece, allowing it to function across digital platforms and physical formats. The vinyl release extended this approach, produced in two editions: a classic purple disc and a collector’s version containing moving liquid inside the record. Both were designed as tactile expressions of the album’s material world.

The system carried into pre-release singles, 3D motion loops for social and Spotify Canvas, large-scale billboards in New York and London, and a modular poster series for the global tour. A concise merch line translated the identity into wearable pieces aligned with the tour’s visual language.

The project established a complete and consistent release ecosystem. The collector’s vinyl sold out, the tour reached strong visibility, and the album’s lead track passed four million streams. The identity has since become a long-term asset for the artist, with elements adopted into Loco Dice’s ongoing brand.
